    No glue: stand the end caps up, slide the back rail through the slots near the bottom back of both end caps and let it drop in, drop each front rail into its end cap slots (notches down), then lay each shelf over its tabs. The shelves lock the front rails in place. Slot fit: 0.2 mm per side suits most printers; loosen to 0.3 if parts are tight. Need it wider? Order two and set them side by side.

    How many shelves, front to back. Each shelf is one step higher than the one in front of it.

    Clear width between the two end caps. The longest part has to fit the 245 mm print bed, so the most you can have is shown under the preview (227 mm at the standard settings). Need it wider? Order two and set them side by side.

    Front to back on each shelf (the part the end caps hold up). All the shelves together stay within 245 mm deep.

    How much higher each shelf is than the one in front of it.

    Height of the bottom shelf off the table (to its underside). The bottom rail fills this gap.

    X braces: open frames with an X in each bay, lighter and the classic look. Solid: plain flat end caps.
    Front rails and text
    A rail under the front edge of each upper shelf. It locks the end caps together and can carry a line of text.
    A rail under the front of the bottom shelf. Needs a bottom shelf height of at least 15 mm.
    A plain rail low across the back that ties the end caps together at the back (the fourth rail of the classic GG stand). It slides through a slot near the bottom back of each end cap. Needs a bottom shelf height of at least 15 mm.

    Optional. Letters are inlaid flush in the text color and sized to fit the rail.

    Material

    Sun and heat: Standard PLA can soften or warp in hot sun or a hot car. For outdoor booths, sunny windows and anything that rides in a vehicle, pick ASA. ASA is about 35% more. ABS is available on any build.

    Tiered shelf stands with custom text on every rail

    Display your collection in stair-step tiers where every level is visible. Built from our original GG Shelf Stand design, this flat-pack stand uses two X-brace end caps that hold 1 to 5 slotted shelves, with front rails that drop into notches and lock the frame together without glue.

    Each front rail can carry an optional line of custom text in a second color. Every piece fits on a standard 245 mm 3D printer bed and ships flat for easy slot-together assembly. Pick a starting preset, adjust the shelves, width and height, and see it in 3D before we print it.

    Questions and answers

    How wide can it be?

    Each part fits on a 245 mm print bed, giving about 227 mm of clear shelf width at the standard settings. Need it wider? Order two and set them side by side.

    Does it need glue?

    No. It is a slot-together flat pack design with no glue needed: the rails drop into notches in the end caps, and the shelves slide over locator tabs to lock everything together. Glue is completely optional.

    Can it carry my text?

    Yes. Each front rail can carry a line of text. The letters are printed flush: flat inlaid letters, 0.6 mm deep, in a second color, level with the rail face. They are never raised or sunk, so they stay smooth and easy to clean.
